TradingView Pine Script Signal Engineering and Alert Simplification
A TradingView strategy was refactored into a lightweight maintained baseline focused on BUY/SELL signals. The engineering work preserved the requested alternate-resolution moving-average signal engine and its internal state gate, removed user-facing TP/SL and unrelated chart output, retained strategy entries, and added configurable BUY and SELL alert messages.
“The OSYSTIC team put in full effort to deliver the project, although some issues could not be rectified.”
The challenge
The supplied strategy contained a larger trade-management and chart-output surface than the required operational baseline. The requested implementation needed to preserve established BUY/SELL signal behavior while stripping out TP/SL orders, TP/SL plots, tables, boxes, lines, and non-signal visuals.
What OSYSTIC built
OSYSTIC delivered a refined strategy baseline using Pine Script v5 that isolates the core signal path, maintains required internal state dependencies, restricts chart output to BUY/SELL labels, and exposes configurable message inputs for alerts.
Engineering Highlights
- Retained alternate-resolution calculation, moving-average variants, crossover logic, and state gate required by the established signal engine
- Limited visible chart output to BUY and SELL labels while removing user-facing TP/SL and unrelated drawing output
- Exposed independent BUY and SELL message inputs and emitted close-frequency alert calls
- Kept final signal events connected to Pine strategy entries for chart-level strategy behavior
- Documented that inherited higher-timeframe mapping can change historically after refresh
- Versioned the maintained baseline, recorded a SHA-256 checksum, and supplied comprehensive technical and governance documentation
Capabilities
- Pine Script refactoring and simplification
- BUY/SELL signal and state-machine analysis
- Multi-timeframe signal engineering
- Alert-message and strategy-entry integration
- CI-backed technical handover for trading tools
Public Evidence Boundary
This public case study intentionally omits client identity, contact information, private repository URLs, credentials, endpoints, production configurations, contract data, private conversations, confidential screenshots, and client-delivery source code.
Outcomes and validation
- Delivered a maintainable, lightweight Pine Script strategy baseline centered on BUY/SELL labels, strategy entries, and configurable alert messages
- Successfully passed automated GitHub Actions validation covering repository structure, checksum verification, source invariants, and disclosure hygiene
- Accepted and versioned the completed delivery baseline as v1.0.0
